I've loved HSM since the UK premiere on the Disney Channel, that's when I knew this film was something special. Ever since then, HSM 1+2 have been my go-to films for an uplifting and happy movie experience - it really makes me forget about everything else in my life.
The first time I saw it at the cinema, it was absolutely brilliant! The dances were fantastic, especially "I Want It All" and "A Night To Remember". I ended up watching it twice in a row over the weekend, and I'm hoping to watch it again soon.
HSM3 is different from what I initially expected - while it's still an amazing film, it's not quite as magical as HSM1&2. The first movie really got me feeling emotional, some laughs, and was just a fun, innocent romp that everyone can enjoy.
I think part of the reason why HSM3 didn't quite live up to my expectations is because it took place in a different environment - I'm guessing the first one was more family-friendly and geared towards younger audiences. But overall, the film still has its charm, it's just not as strong as HSM1&2.
